Types of Picture Lights
Traditional Picture Light
Brass or bronze bar mounted above artwork. Classic, timeless look. Shines light down onto art.

Sizing Guide
- Light width: Should be 1/3 to 1/2 the width of the artwork.
- Small art (under 20"): 12-14 inch picture light.
- Medium art (20-36"): 16-24 inch picture light.
- Large art (36"+): 24-36 inch picture light or multiple lights.
- Position: Centered above artwork, 3-6 inches above frame.
Mounting Options
- Hardwired: Cleanest look. No visible cord. Requires electrician.
- Plug-in: Cord runs down wall. Can use cord cover to minimize visibility.
- Frame-mounted: Clips onto top of frame. Easiest install.
- Battery/rechargeable: No wires at all. Rechargeable LEDs last weeks.
- Wall wash alternative: Recessed adjustable above artwork works too.
