Installation Overview

Turn off water supply
Shut off valves under sink. Open faucet to drain remaining water.

Disconnect supply lines
Use basin wrench or adjustable pliers. Have bucket ready for drips.

Remove old faucet
Unscrew mounting nuts from below. Lift faucet out. Clean sink surface.

Install new faucet
Follow manufacturer instructions. Insert through hole(s), secure from below.

Connect and test
Attach supply lines, turn on water slowly, check all connections for leaks.

- •Buy quality: Moen, Delta, Kohler have lifetime warranties. Cheap faucets leak sooner.
- •Get braided supply lines: They're included with most faucets and are more durable.
- •Basin wrench is essential: $15 tool makes reaching nuts under sink much easier.
- •Don't overtighten: Snug is enough. Over-tightening cracks porcelain and damages seals.
